Gynecomastia and TransTape

Do you have gynecomastia? Are you looking for gender affirming products? Well, TransTape is the original body transformation system and it's designed with the user in mind. Compression free, sweat-proof and water-proof, it's made for anyone looking to feel free in their skin! So let's talk about TransTape and how people with gynecomastia can benefit from it.

Hey friends!

We are back once again.

Believe it or not, we're going to talk about TransTape today.

Surprising, I know. Didn't mean to hit you with a jump scare so fast.

We've talked a lot about how transgender and non binary people benefit from TransTape.

And that's great and all, but as I've mentioned before, TransTape is for everyone.

And to double-down on that, the "Trans" in "TransTape" stands for transformation and not transgender. This tends to be a common misconception when talking about TransTape!

TransTape is all-inclusive, for every body, and this brings me to our topic for today.

Gynecomastia.

For those of you who aren't familiar with gynecomastia, stay tuned after the recap for more information on it!

..TransTape?

Alright, TransTape vets, you know the drill.

You've probably heard it a million times, but we're going to talk about what exactly TransTape is for all of the new users here.

I know, I know. I do this to you every time and all you want to do is read all the cool things I write about. I understand, I do.

That's why you're more than welcome to skip ahead, I won't hold it against you guys.

I might cry, though. I work really hard on these.

Jokes aside, skip the recap if you must and I'll meet you in the next section.

Now, we persevere!

TransTape is theeeeee original body-transformation system!

It's a backless, strapless and waterproof alternative to binders, bras, gaffes and other self-affirming products.

If you're someone who packs or tucks, TransTape can also replace expensive pairs of packing and tucking underwear!

The fabric to this amazing stuff is made from a blend of 95% cotton and 5% spandex, making it comfortable and flexible.

And to keep this fabric attached to our delicate skin, TransTape uses a hypoallergenic medical grade acrylic adhesive that is latex free and non-medicated.

Phew, that last part is always a lot.

TransTape is made with the user in mind.

And what I mean by that is, it's made with everyone in mind.

Everyone can use TransTape, whether you use it to ease gender dysphoria or replace an overpriced bra that isn't even comfortable.

TransTape is for everybody, and don't forget it!

Regardless of your lifestyle, from an adventure craving daredevil to a relaxed homebody, TransTape has you covered.

Workout in the gym, float in the ocean, read a book in your favorite chair or do all three this week with the same application!

That's right, TransTape can last up to a week!

Sometimes even more, depending on your application.

So go ahead and enjoy the best things in life as your authentic self.

Find your freedom.

So, Gynecomastia?

Right, I did say I'd tell you more about this.

So let me follow through on that.

Gynecomastia is a condition typically associated with cisgender men, or to put it another way, those who were assigned male at birth (AMAB).

It's defined as the over-development or enlargement of the breast tissue in people AMAB. This means that the breasts become larger, and will often grow unevenly.

It can be caused by changes or imbalances in levels of the hormones estrogen and testosterone.

And although everyone produces estrogen and testosterone, typically people AMAB produce enough testosterone that it prevents the estrogen from making their breast tissue grow.

And that's basically gynecomastia.

It's actually really common too, which I never realized.

Approximately 50%-65% of boys and men (AMAB) are affected by gynecomastia worldwide. And up to 70% of people AMAB experience it to some degree during early to mid puberty.

Safe to say, you're not alone.

Gynecomastia and TransTape

Now that you know a little more about gynecomastia and what exactly it is, you might see how TransTape comes into the picture.

If not, I'm gonna talk about it anyways so don't worry about it.

Similar to trans masc or non binary folks who may or may not use a binder or tape for binding, people with gynecomastia can use TransTape to flatten their chest for a more "masculine" appearance.

Real Quick

I like to put "masculine" in quotations because there is no right or approved way to be "masculine."

Same goes for "feminine."

For some, masculinity looks like a larger chest with painted nails and a sun dress.

And sometimes, femininity looks like a flat chest, fresh fade and a black tuxedo.

And both of those are more than okay!

My point is that the only person who can define what masculinity and femininity means to you, is you.

After all, these are just social constructs that you don't even have to participate in if you don't want to.

Continued

So people with gynecomastia can use TransTape to tape their chest to achieve a flatter appearance.

I think that's where we left off, right?

TransTape is applied the same way for gynecomastia as it is for someone looking to bind their chest, regardless of why they're binding.

Cut your strips, apply your nipple guards, apply the strips. If you're looking for a way more in depth how-to for binding than that, check out this post.

Depending on breast tissue size, the amount of tape needed will vary. But the basic technique is exactly the same.

So that means achieving gender euphoria and feeling confident in your body is just a few clicks and strips away!

TransTape is discreet and provides the user with the opportunity to feel at home in their body and live a little more outside of their comfort zone, confidently.

This could mean wearing that tank top you love so much, swimming at the beach or maybe it just means being able to let your guard down in your day-to-day life.

And that is BEAUTIFUL.

If you decide to give TransTape a whirl, you don't have to do it alone!

When you're getting ready to apply, for the first time or the 100th time it doesn't matter, you can reach out to the TransTape help desk for some tips, tricks and guidance!

Even if you think of questions before you try or after your application, go ahead and send a message! That's why the help desk is there!

So to summarize all of this, people with gynecomastia should definitely buy TransTape.

That summarizes it all, right?

Remember, TransTape is for everyone.

Last But Not Least

Being uncomfortable in your body is a horrible feeling and nobody deserves to feel like that.

Nobody.

It doesn't matter who you are or how you identify, you deserve to feel at home in your body.

Trans women, trans men, non-binary people, cis women, cis men and anyone else that I'm forgetting, you deserve to be happy.

Yes, you too! ESPECIALLY you!

Even if you don't use TransTape, I'll allow the happiness.

That was a joke, I allow all the happiness for all the people.

If you or someone you know has gynecomastia, I hope this post has encouraged you to either try TransTape or recommend it to a friend.

Now, get out there and transform.

Until next time,

Stay awesome,

Stay beautiful,

Stay you.

You are loved and it gets better.

Talk to you soon,

Jamie
